Educare è come seminare: il frutto non è garantito e non è immediato, ma se non si semina è certo che non ci sarà raccolto.

Come ci ricorda l’indimenticato cardinale Martini, educare è un po’ come seminare, ma perché citare semina, educazione e raccolto in un articolo sui progetti Erasmus?
La risposta è molto semplice: il seme è la mia visita, nel 2016, al JKHK di Päide (Estonia), durante la quale ho illustrato ai colleghi di informatica il tipo di lavoro che facciamo al CFP Canossa di Milano (App per smartphone Android): essendo un argomento che allora non trattavano ma che potevano inserire nel loro profilo i colleghi hanno subito manifestato grande interesse.
Da allora abbiamo mantenuto i contatti e ci siamo scambiati, grazie ai progetti Erasmus, diverse visite che hanno coinvolto sia docenti che studenti.
Quanto al raccolto, anche quest’anno abbiamo il piacere di ospitare ben 5 studenti del JKHK, con l’ormai consueta formula della mobilità ibrida: nel mese di febbraio abbiamo tenuto una serie di lezioni online grazie a Google Meet durante le quali abbiamo parlato (e non solo) degli strumenti che i ragazzi avrebbero dovuto utilizzare una volta giunti a Milano.
Dal 2 marzo scorso, finalmente arrivati in Italia, i ragazzi si sono messi al lavoro sullo sviluppo di una serie di App per smartphone in grado di risolvere, in modo rapido e preciso, alcune situazioni della realtà quotidiana del CFP, dalla gestione dei corsi di aggiornamento per gli insegnanti, alla gestione del servizio di Paninaggio offerto dagli studenti del corso di Addetto alla preparazione pasti.
Durante queste settimane Kairi, Andreas, Karl, Margo e Johannes hanno anche partecipato, come tutor d’aula, alle lezioni di informatica per gli studenti di terza Operatore dei Servizi di Impresa: è stata una bella esperienza soprattutto perchè, in un momento di formazione d’aula, abbiamo combinato l’uso della lingua inglese alle competenze di informatica e di organizzazione del lavoro.
Ancora una volta siamo rimasti decisamente impressionati dalle competenze messe in campo dagli studenti estoni, pertanto un sentito ringraziamento va anche allo staff del JKHK ed in particolare a Marleen, la responsabile dei progetti Erasmus, per aver lavorato anche quest’anno alla realizzazione di questa mobilità, ci auguriamo tutti che questa collaborazione si consolidi ancora maggiormente in futuro!

As the unforgettable Cardinal Martini reminds us, educating is a bit like sowing, but why mention sowing, education and harvest in an article on Erasmus projects?
The answer is very simple: the seed is my visit, in 2016, to JKHK in Päide (Estonia), during which I illustrated to my IT colleagues the type of work we do at CFP Canossa in Milan (App for Android smartphones): being a topic they didn’t deal with at the time but which colleagues could include in their profile, they immediately expressed great interest.
Since then we have maintained contact and we have exchanged, thanks to the Erasmus projects, several visits involving both teachers and students.
As for the harvest, this year too we have the pleasure of hosting 5 JKHK students, with the now usual formula of hybrid mobility: in February we held a series of online lessons thanks to Google Meet during which we talked ( and not only) of the tools that the boys should have used once they arrived in Milan.
Since last March 2nd, having finally arrived in Italy, the students have been working on developing a series of Apps for smartphones able to solve, quickly and precisely, some situations of the daily reality of the CFP, from the management of courses for teachers, to the management of the Paninaggio service offered by the students of the Meal Preparation course, and much nore.
During these weeks Kairi, Andreas, Karl, Margo and Johannes also participated, as classroom tutors, in computer science lessons for the third year students of Business Services Operator: it was a great experience above all because, in a moment of classroom training, we have combined the use of the English language with computer skills and work organization.
Once again we were very impressed by the skills put in place by the Estonian students, therefore a heartfelt thanks also goes to the JKHK staff and in particular to Marleen, the Erasmus project manager, for having worked also this year to the realization of this mobility, we all hope that this collaboration will consolidate even more in the future!
